Supporting our local community through acts of Remembrance is of huge importance to the squadron and wider RAF Air Cadets. During the busy Remembrance weekend, we’ve been honoured to support the local communities of Falkirk and Grangemouth.

Saturday saw our cadets join our colleagues from 867 Denny Squadron – RAF Air Cadets and 1333 – Grangemouth Spitfire Squadron on the streets of Grangemouth collecting for Poppy Scotland and their annual Poppy Collection. All three squadrons also had representation on the pitch for the quick service before the local Falkirk football match.

Sunday saw the squadron split among 4 local remembrance services in Camelon, Bainsford, Polmont and our Padre’s church in Falkirk. A busy day paying our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. With over 45 members of the squadron on parade during the day, we are very proud of everyone’s involvement and extremely proud to support our local communities.
