It almost seems fate that in the year that we celebrate our 80th anniversary as a Squadron and a Corps we move back to the wing where it all began…
470 (Falkirk) Squadron was formed on the 18th February 1941 as part of “Edinburgh Wing” and with the new regional reorganisation taking effect from Feb 1st we find ourselves moving back to its descendant, “South East Scotland Wing”.
10 years ago during another regional reshuffle we moved to “West Scotland Wing” so we now have to say goodbye to our friends and colleagues and look forward to meeting and working with our extended Wing family in 2021 and beyond!
