Four cadets from 470 joined a number of their peers from across Scotland at the Regional Activity Centre at RAF Leuchars for the first VHF Radio course of 2015.
The course started on Friday evening until Sunday afternoon and covered the fundamentals of radio communication both in the classroom and with practical exercises. This is the first step in gaining the Communication badge within the Air Training Corp.
We had a huge amount of interest in this at Squadron level so we plan to send more cadets this year to try build a team of operators within 470.
