470 Cadets go Gliding!

After a long period of downtime due to Covid-19, cadets and staff from 470 Sqn returned to RAF Kirknewton on Friday 6th August 2021 to complete ground training and fly the Viking gliders.

Unfortunatly the Scottish weather intervened and only Sgt Emily Gribben managed to get a flight before the thunderstorms descended on Kirknewton grounding all aircraft.

With the lifting of many of the restrictions which impact our activities we will be back at RAF Kirknewton very soon!
