Remembrance Sunday 2020

This year Remembrance Sunday took a very different form for obvious reasons.

As a Squadron we would normally be very busy attending multiple events over the weekend of remembrance but with social distancing still in effect and all organised events cancelled we took time to pause and reflect at home on our door steps and in our gardens. It is especially relevant that this year we also recognise the efforts and self sacrifice of our emergency services and NHS staff during the the current pandemic and the work they do every day to support our country.

The sacrifice of our service men and woman will never be forgotten and 470 Squadron is committed to commemorating those who have laid down their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
