Glider Simulator Training @ RAF Kirknewton

Four cadets from 470 (Falkirk) Squadron recently attended RAF Kirknewton on January 12th 2020 to complete the Part Task Trainer course otherwise known as Glider Simulator Training.

This important ground based training for the Viking Glider is completed at RAF Kirknewton prior to the commencement of Glider flights so that the cadets can develop their skills before they go on to gain their Blue Wings.
