470 Selected as 2018 Lees / Morris Trophy Nomination for West Scotland Wing

This week we were advised that 470 (Falkirk) Squadron has won the West Scotland Wing Efficiency trophy for 2017 and is therefore the Wing nomination for the Lee’s / Morris Trophy for 2018.

As a unit this is a massive honour for us and a testament to all the hard work put in by the cadets, volunteer staff and civilian committee over the past few years to build up the Squadron to the level required to be selected as “Best in the Wing” for 2017.

We now embark on an extremely busy period of preparation for the inspection by Scotland and Northern Ireland Regional Commandant, Group Captain Leggat and his team on Tuesday Feb 20th 2018.
