470 on Target at CISSAM 2017!
Cadets from 470 Sqn attended the Cadet Inter-Services Small Arms Meet at Pirbright Barracks in Surrey this year and done extremely well. CISSAM sees the cream of the crop from all 3 Cadet Forces battle it out for the coveted Cadet 50 badges which indicate you are one of the top shots in the UK.
The ATC narrowly beat the ACF to win the overall competition with our own Corporal Andrew Morrison taking home a Cadet 50 badge for his impressive score. Overall Cpl Morrison was placed in 8th place within the RAF Air Cadets and 470 Sqn was placed 22nd in the overall competition against 53 tri-service teams.
