470 was one of the lucky squadron’s from across Scotland and Northern Ireland region to be invited to Leuchars Station on Tuesday July 4th for a flight in a RAF Puma helicopter.
Six cadets escorted by Fg.Off Bryce and Plt. Officer Esson made the trip up to our old parent station to see the Puma in action and joined 60 other cadets and staff in anticipation of a flight around the base.
Unfortunately 470 were allocated a late slot for our experience and our day was cut short before any of our cadets and staff got to fly but we did make the most of the trip and got some cracking pictures and video.
