On Saturday July 1st cadets and staff from 470 embarked on another bag pack to boost funds in aid of our strategic Squadron projects.
This time we were allocated a slot at Tesco’s Redding store which turned out to be our most successful bag pack EVER! The turnout from cadets was extremely good considering the number of other activities which are currently on during the summer holidays and they all worked extremely hard throughout the day proving a service with a smile.
As a result we are delighted to report that we raised £1700 in 8 hours which included a donation of £500.00 from local business “Montana Home Care Ltd”.
This was a fantastic result for 470 and we are extremely grateful for the generosity of all the Tesco’s customers and “Montana Home Care Ltd”.
