On Tuesday 17th January 2017 we were very happy to welcome representatives from the Scottish Aeromodellers Association to the Squadron. The team gave an overview of RC flying as a hobby and how it can be integrated into the Squadron training programme as an aid to learn about aviation technology and the principles of flight.
A selection of equipment was on display to allow the cadets to interact ranging from a simple training aircraft, to the electric fan powered de Havilland Venom and the large scale Supermarine Spitfire!
