Summer Air Experience Flights for 470
Seven cadets from 470 got up very early on Tuesday 5th July to visit 12 AEF at Leuchars Station to experience their first flight in the Grob Tutor training aircraft.
All the cadets selected had never flown before so they were all extremely excited to get the opportunity! Thankfully the weather was good and all the cadets had the chance to fly and get their hands on the controls.
It was also a very special flight for Cadet Warrant Officer Declan Kerr as it was the last opportunity for him to fly as a cadet before he turns 20 years old next month and transfers to Adult Staff.
