470 Checks Out After Tesco Bag Pack

The late shift volunteers from 470 (Falkirk) Squadron after a very successful bag pack.

Saturday 30th April proved to be a very lucrative day for 470 Squadron as we packed bags for the customers of Tesco’s Falkirk Retail Park store.

The cadet team supported by Adult Staff and Civilian Committee members raised £825.00 for Squadron funds which is a fantastic result and we all extremely thankful to the customers who donated. We would also like to thank Tesco’s for the opportunity to raise funds and all the support the staff gave us on the day.

Our Air Cadet Recruitment stand also received a lot of attention and it was really interesting to speak to so many people who who connections to 470 going back to the early 50’s.

It really shows that “Once an Air Cadet, Always an Air Cadet” is very true!
