Remembrance Football Match – Falkirk Vs. Alloa

Cadets from Sector 6 of West Scotland Wing and 383 (Alloa) Squadron of West Scotland Scotland Wing were invited by the chairman of Falkirk Football Club to participate at the clubs recent Remembrance game between Falkirk FC and Alloa Athletic.

It was certainly a wet and miserable day but that didn’t dampen their spirits!

The cadets and uniformed staff provided the honor guard as the Chairman of both clubs laid wreaths at the Brockville gate and we observed a 2 minute silence. After watching the first half of the game, cadets nominated from 470 (Falkirk) and 383 (Alloa) Squadrons participated in the traditional half time challenge but neither managed to find the goal so it was settled with a friendly handshake 🙂
