470 Squadron was pleased to assist Falkirk Council with this years Canine Capers event at the Helix Great Lawn on Saturday 13th June 2015. The event is part of the wider Green Dog Walkers initiative which aims to heighten awareness of being a responsible dog owner in the community.
It was an early start for the cadets as they assisted the council team with the infrastructure for the event. Once the festivities were in full swing by mid day a number of cadets got the opportunity to dress up in costume and had a great time entertaining the visitors.
The Squadron also had the recruitment stand up and running, spreading awareness of the Air Training Corp and the opportunities the organisation can provide to young people.
